A QUICK GUIDE TO YOUR LANGUAGE LEVEL
Level 1 Beginner Level
You speak and understand very little (if any) of the language.
Level 2 Survival Level
You can get by in the language in straightforward travel, social and professional situations.
Level 3 Threshold Level
You can communicate reasonably well but make mistakes and sometimes misunderstand. You seek to develop sufficient fluency to use your language skills at work, both on the telephone and in face-to-face communication.
Level 4 Operational Level
You do not have problems communicating in the language but now wish to develop your skills so that you can work effectively in the language and establish and sustain business relationships.
Level 5 Advanced Level
You speak and understand the language very well and seek to maintain and build on those skills for the purposes of your work.
